Janetia Knapp

Janetia is a Goreng/Minang woman who is well respected by the Indigenous and the wider community.

Janetia is a passionate Cultural Awareness teacher, nurse and artist. At Notre Dame University she is Artist in Residence, on the board of the School of Midwifery and Research and is supported by the Indigenous School of Medicine.

Recently, Janetia has been the proud recipient of the Commissioner’s Medal for community engagement.
