HOW TO VOTE FOR ME

Mining is Australia’s biggest export earner, other than the wages earned by workers, little else stays in Western Australia. The major parties use their powers in parliament to ensure the lessor states benefit from Western Australia’s loss.

Community service is important to me; I am a former SES Volunteer, Perth, and Bush Fire Brigade Volunteer whilst residing at the family farm. The original concept of Landcare groups was fantastic, but unfortunately became bogged in bureaucracy.

I believe local government is an important arm of state and federal government. Elected as councillor between 1989 and 2003, I served on 29 community and local government committees, from local community development associations through to representing the region in state council.
