Peter Gunness

Peter was born in Newcastle, NSW, and spent some of his childhood in WA, returning to live in Western Australia 8 years ago due to work commitments. Back in Perth for a short 6 month contract, Peter fell for a local girl and experienced the joy of living in a local, caring community. There was no going back east! Peter, and his partner Jane, have since bought a home with the ideal ‘home is where the heart is’ proving Peter’s heart is solely in WA.

He has fond memories of a diverse childhood in WA: and reminisces about attending kindergarten in Narrogin, racing his billy cart in Geraldton and learning to sail at the Mounts Bay Sailing Club.

Peter says that although Western Australia is a great state to live in, he believes we can make it better. He is confident that the Western Australia Party has the right people with a get-up-and-go attitude to stand up for our state to enhance the lives of all West Australians.
