With a love of the Perth Hills, Stephen Phelan descends from forbears who arrived from Ireland in 1915. Stephen grew up on his family’s wheat and sheep property, moved to Kalamunda in 1974 where he was educated at the local primary school, and then attended Mazenod College, Lesmurdie.
With a farming background, and as a qualified chef running a successful, small business for over 32 years, Stephen understands that hard work produces positive results. Stephen intends to replicate this by representing you in Parliament.
Stephen built a mudbrick home in Hovea in the Mundaring Shire in 1993, has two sons who were schooled at Helena College, Darlington/Glen Forrest, and has four grand-children.
